Art has always been the constant. Through continents crossed, a life built from scratch, and a body that demanded more than most, creating was never a choice. It was the way back to stillness.

Born in Apartheid South Africa, moving to London at twenty one; a journey that would prove lifesaving and lead inevitably to art. There is a resilience in that distance and it lives in the work. We play where feeling finds its form; from what a piece sets out to say, to what emerges in the making of it. Therein lies our discovery of truth.

Each piece carries something particular. In the process of bringing someone's vision to life, something unforeseen tends to surface: a shared emotion, an unexpected truth. By the time the work is complete, it holds more than was imagined at the outset. That is the nature of what is made here.
